We have been studying their file formats for the last seven years and probably have the most experience with MS Office outside of Redmond. That with the fact that our office suite has the deepest feature set (granted others have a wider feature set including CRM, email, etc.) has made us the second largest online player in the space.

At this point we are betting that people will be willing to pay a nominal fee ($7 a month) for offline access, syncrhonization, support, and unlimited storage. We will let you know in a few months whether this was a smart move or not;).

Thanks,
JonathanJonathanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02613824373798013956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13050727.post-80137009789513323992007-04-23T17:53:00.000+02:002007-04-23T17:53:00.000+02:002007-04-23T17:53:00.000+02:00Won't you be losing some potential great evangelis...Won't you be losing some potential great evangelists by taking what I would consider such a "key" feature to put you a step ahead of everyone else and making it only part of the "premium" version?Craighttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18064534300185411134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13050727.post-63497241425191227052007-04-22T18:41:00.000+02:002007-04-22T18:41:00.000+02:002007-04-22T18:41:00.000+02:00Craig,Sorry, the synchronization feature is coming...Craig,

Sorry, the synchronization feature is coming. The Premium Edition will be in closed beta in the next month. This will offer offline access to the tools and synchronization between offline and online. We are still determining the details of putting the Premium version on a USB.

Thanks,
JonathanJonathanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02613824373798013956noreply@blogger.com
