Pownce has finally released their API or as they put it "Complete API" including authentication to give the user access to the private notes as well as posting.
I've been waiting for this so I can give Pownce users the ability to use @eventtrack as well!
But what I found quite humorous was when I went to their "tools" site where users can share the cool things they have built I saw this screen shot for the "Pownce Desktop" an Adobe Air app allowing a user to post and interact without going to the website - funny though the icon is for Twhirl a popular Twitter Air app, Twitter being probably the biggest competitor to Pownce either someone thought it would be funny or someone made a big mistake?

Update: Within 24hrs the image was replaced, have not heard if it was a mistake, a goof or what.
