Many may not be aware but PHP together with SAP is one strong combination! To date the most widely used has been an Open Source connector which unfortunately the original author has not been able to maintain nor will be able in the future. Zend is now taking a look, and I for one am very happy they are taking an interest as are many of my colleagues.
