The guys over at Zoho were very nice and let me get a special Alpha preview of the new Zoho Notebook.
I decided what better way to give my thoughts then to do it as a video blog (OK a Screen Cam and voice over...)
Without community and the personal touch you become just another chunk of code among a sea of bytes and bits.

Thanks for your time testing the Alpha. Apologize for all the bugs. Publish has issues too. But you'll see an update almost once a day. Writer and sheet at the object level were updated yesterday. We are improving it and it should be better later this week.
We didnt add planner and other pages. These will be added for the release. All options under 'more' (for pages and objects) will not work for now.
BTW, you were asking about Wiki page. Currently you can do it using add url object. But we need to automate it. Regarding chat, we will integrate Zoho Chat into it along with Skype integration (already available).
Please let us know your feedback. The link is just on the top right of the app.
Raju no apologizes requried - honest! You guys have done an amazing job more so than I originally thought and you can rest assured you have a new loyal "Notebook" user :-)
This is just fantastic!! I'll log in and do some more "playing" around and see what I can see. Not sure I said it in the video but integration into things like flickr, zoomr, etc would be fantastic :-)
Thanks Craig. We will integrate into Flickr, Zoomr a bit later. Our current focus is to get the basics right with good performance....and the rest will be added at a good pace.
BTW, our friends at Flixn gave us a customized audio & Video player we just updated few minutes back. You should check it out.
Love the new player!!!
Hey Craig,
I really like your Zoho reviews. I already have an account and it's absolutely impressive.
Could you please tell me what SW did you use for your screen recording? I'm still looking for a good one.
Thanks,
Oliver
Thanks Oliver!
I've tried several like SnagIt but right now I've been using the one from DeskShare (http://www.deskshare.com/)
