Now being a avid user of web based applications and not have any files on my local PC since April, this seems to be right up my alley - would love to test it! I emailed them for info and to see if they are looking for testers, hopefully they'll get back to me with some cool info on it and any possiblities as well as future availablity.

Live on Stage!
Later after getting off stage I was asked to host the whole Demo Jam in Bangalore the following month (actually like 3 weeks later) so I went for it and there I found myself on stage in front of 3800 people and it was just a lot of fun!
I've done online conferences where I've spoken to groups of a few hundred and all that, and then while in Bangalore I was asked if I would come and speak at an open forum, something I've not done, so we'll see if my job takes me back over around the time for that open forum and if so maybe I will do it. It's an interesting idea when someone asks you to speak, host or present there are so many mixed emotions and strange thoughts flying around in your head it's hard to concentrate. Normally for me the stress and all that does not end until I actually walk on stage with the mic in hand and begin talking at that point I start to relax and enjoy myserlf - before hand though I stress quite a bit about everything going on and if I will forget the things I'm supposed to mention and all.
All in all though I think this is definetly something I want to keep doing and I hope they'll ask me again next year to do it maybe I'll even get chances to do other speaking type things and interacting with the crowds - it's tremendous fun and the energy the crowds have when you start to hit on the topic they all are crazy for is just amazing!

Eis Flower
Anyway I decided to do a spin on the whole thing and turn the show into "Cooking with Geeks", half the time like my little creation in the photo people look and think "huh a computer geek can do that?" Therefore my next episode will be about "Monkey Bread" and I hope to have it online soon.

Dennis Moore on Enterprise Widgets
SAP starts taking the first strides into Enterprise level Widgets. What's even cooler though is the fact that it's happening (I mean all of it) right on SDN. From the forums where they are discussing it to the blogs where they are showing them to the downloads where you can actually get them.
Very cool area to be in right now, can't wait for some of the ones we have internally to go public! I guess the biggest question will be who will be there first our fellow SDNers or SAPers?

Meeting Thomas
Over the past several months I've been meeting more and more bloggers out there, James, was the the first in all my meetings recently and the latest has been Thomas.
I got back to Germany on the Tuesday late afternoon, Thursday morning I drove straight to Frankfurt then to Mannheim, then back to Frankfurt, then out to Dudenhofen, then over to Walldorf then back to Dudenhofen. Friday morning I went straight to Walldorf then back to Lippstadt.
While I was there in Walldorf I had short meeting with Thomas, I'd been reading his blog for awhile and had, had some email exchanges with him so finally getting to meet him in person was quite cool.
The conversation jumped into a discussion about Starships and Enterprisy and all sorts of interesting things which of course lead me to my day job and evangelising SDN, actually in this round it was more of the BPX side as Thomas is a great fit for that. One of the things I seem to be taking great pleasure in lately is the fact that no one really has that broad of an idea of everything that is going on within the realm of the Community Network here at SAP (SDN and BPX). So I think or at least I hope I got Thomas thinking of a few things going on and I look forward to hearing back from him...
Just a side note, I meet a guy on the plan named Varun who works at HP and deals with SAP BW, he was on his way to Bangalore as there team here had grown 300%. He said he would have some of his people get in touch with me after I showed him around SDN a bit.

Nice little bit on using your screen space - this can also apply to PC as well not just the Mac.
